Meet Current, the First Caller ID App to Look Beyond a Name

Imagine keeping up to date with your social circle without a single scroll. Think how convenient it would be to instantly know that a good friend recently bought a new house, or got a different job right before you call or text with them. Well, now it’s possible.

Today we are very excited to release a major leap forward in Caller ID that will help you stay on top of your communications. Current Caller ID is a free Android app that provides an entirely new way to keep in touch with friends, family and acquaintances.

Current combines Call ID, Text ID, Social feeds, Local News and Weather in a single app. By identifying the people most important to you – the ones you call and text the most — and matching their latest status updates from Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, Current helps cut through the clutter and puts the latest updates from your top contacts front and center as you are about to communicate. In addition to surfacing the most recent social status, Current also delivers live local info from the caller or texter’s location, such as their local news and weather so you can keep that conversation going with events relative to the person you are taking with.

If that’s not enough, the app has colorful infographics to pull it all together to give insight into how you communicate and the best time or day to reach your contacts. This is an app that makes you feel like you’ve got it all together – like that person at the cocktail party who remembers everyone’s name.
Of course, Current Caller ID still does what WhitePages is the leader at – putting a name to unknown numbers including hard to find and mobile numbers. Since releasing our first Caller ID app in 2008, we’ve identified over 700 million calls and are still going strong. Current Caller ID includes significantly more phone number identification for calls and texts – all for free.

To learn more check out the video, and download the new app today in Google Play. Existing users of WhitePages Caller ID can easily upgrade to the new app.

I’m extremely impressed together with your writing abilities as neatly as with the layout in your weblog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it yourself? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it is uncommon to see a great weblog like this one nowadays..
