 Webby Award
This year, the Internet turned 25, and the Webby Awards marked it recently with some memorable awards at their 18th Annual Awards presentation. What are the Webbys? They’re called the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, and presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Like the Oscars for the Web.

We’re proud to be part of the Webby Awards; this year, our Current Caller ID app was recognized as an “Official Honoree”. This is noteworthy because it goes to the Top 15 percent of entrants in all categories, so we’re glad to hear people are finding our app pretty darn useful.

“Honorees like WhitePages Current are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 12,000 entries we received this year.”

Congrats to all the Nominees our fellow Honorees and the “People’s Voice” Award winners!
